Industrial Photo Composite Art
West Coast digital artist Sheila Wood creates her urban industrial and graffiti photos intuitively. They are composites, combining the abstract with the real. A love of painting seems apparent in her expressive photos works, which play with our modern relationship with industry, technology, and the environment.
The Minimal and Street Photography show a keen eye for a range of subjects, such as Italian walls that display a history of use and color. Originally from Chicago, Sheila's studio is now in an 1930s industrial building once producing tomato sauce for Heinz Inc. She studied painting and drawing at CA Arts & Crafts and digital media at two Bay Area colleges.
